Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America shows how sisters played a vital role in shaping American life from before the earliest days of the republic and throughout its history.

Narrated by NPR senior news analyst and ABC news political commentator Cokie Roberts, the documentary tells of the quiet courage exercised by these women during many dramatic moments in US history.

The 56-minute documentary is on sale on a DVD that also includes a film study guide, a digital exhibit, and videos from the traveling Women & Spirit exhibit.
